The Epping Scout Group is running sailing sessions on Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm during Term 1 and Term 4.  Sailing dates are dependent on the availability of our qualified sailing instructors and the dates should be promoted at your Scout meetings during the week.  
 
Sailing at the Epping Scout Group Boatshed is an opportunity for Scouts to experience sailing and to learn how to sail.  We start off in the training boat until the participant has sufficient Experience and competence to progress into the smaller, but faster, craft.  We compete in some of the local regattas including Sirius Cup in March at Balmoral and the Port Neptune Regatta in September on the Parramatta River at Abbotsford.
 
Please be on time to start rigging the boats at 1:00pm Sharp.  Part of the experience of sailing is being responsible for rigging the boat at the start and also cleaning and packing everything away after an enjoyable day on the water.
